闪米特人（希伯来语：שמיים，英语：SemiticPeople），又称闪族人或闪姆人，是起源于阿拉伯半岛和叙利亚沙漠的游牧民族。他们前往沙特阿拉伯居住用阿拉哈姆语。相传挪亚之养子摩西之弟兄闪（Shem）即为其祖先。闪米特是民族在语言、文化上的一个分支。
